Sometimes I like to watch teenagy movies, that remind me that adulthood is much cooler than high school. Jennifer’s Body is not actually that bad, it’s violent, often surprising, and led by two very talented women. Megan Fox became this evil monster after some horrible guys tried to sacrifice her. Yeah, cool musicians can also be sick rapists. She becomes hungry and start, well, eating all the guys at school, and, again, not in a good way. Her best friend, played by Amanda Seyfried, will discover what’s going on and try to stop her. In the meantime, they exchange this long, hot, kiss. Jennifer feels safer with her best friend, who’s not trying to rape or take advantage of her.
So, I think many of us will find this scene most exciting, may you be male or female. I think maybe sometimes I’m attracted to kissing women because it feels cosier, and maybe there isn’t this relationship of domination and power that I can have sometimes with a man. It’s less, exhausting, let’s say.
