Berlin is a real goldmine of creativity and projects. Some are good, some are way too obscure, and others make me pause my breakfast in admiration, like now. I was browsing the Internetz during my usual morning routine and I found Judy Miel’s Coven. It led me to more delicious adventures, with colors, oranges, sea shells and more…

Concha by Coven

I used to hear that word very often, back in Barcelona. I have a few Argentinian friends and they always refer to the cunt as the ‘concha’, which means sea shell in Spanish. Every time I would spend some time with them, I would end up mimicking their way of talking and end up throwing that word every five minutes.

Back to today’s tasty dish: Concha is the first postporn short film by the queer, feminist collective, COVEN Berlin. Behind the fun and colourful video, there is a philosophical substance inspired by Foucault’s concept of ‘degenitalizing’ sex and pleasure. In this film, this is achieved by mixing several non-explicit elements but still transmitting an explicit, provocative idea.

It was shot by Judy Mièl, who happens to be the co-founder and creative director of Coven.

Want Some Oranges?

This is the trailer for Goodyn Green’s first porn film, Want Some Oranges, which was premiered two years ago at the Berlin Porn Film Festival in the Lesbian Pain Shorts category. Guess what, it was edited by Judy Mièl and also stars Sadie Lune and Zoë Challenger.

Vageidoscope

Judy Mièl creates ‘transdisciplinary genderbending queer artwork with the main focus on illustration, gifs and video art.’

You can see below two really cool, slightly psychedelic and definitely pussy-charged gifs.
