I’ve just stumbled upon this video and I was very pleasantly surprised to find a fun, fresh piece of video art. Lussuria (Lust, in Italian) is a video by Antonino Novellino.
Lussuria – I just want to feel alive
I love several things about this video art: the concept of male and female bodies in this montage really reminds us that no matter what we look like, we are entitled to pleasure and self-exploring. We all have fantasies and feel desire, and the shape of our bodies doesn’t matter.
I also love the music. It’s a Spanish song by Olaia Pazos, and the lyrics include stuff like “Now mama, let me tell you, even if it’s too late, men have touched my things, and I’ve let them, I thrust against them and I liked it, I don’t want to be so fragile that they break me, I just want to feel aliiiiive”. I love it, don’t you think it’s just so sexy?
Novellino is a director based in Madrid. He makes independent short film, and works as a TV Director.
