‘Pliable Me’ is the third track from ‘Nothing Good Gets Away’ by Bouts, a modern pop-grunge band from Dublin. It’s not unusual to find nudity and sex in music videos, but it’s not very often done in a cool, fresh way. That’s why I love this clip!

On the video page, the description starts with this: * Warning: Contains Nudity *. It always amuses me how we can all access racist, sexist and even dangerous content on the Internet, but beware the nudity! Shut your eyes and hope it doesn’t get to you!
Anyway, this video is pretty cool. It follow a series of couples having sex, not only during the act, but also before and after. It’s very natural in the sense that the actors look like anybody else, they’re not models, and the situations are also very relatable. The messy bedroom, the interruption to put the condom on… We can all identify with this, and the music is fresh and cool, so it really fits the content of the clip.
The condom is not a little detail. It is zoomed on and it really shows how much of a big part of sex it has become, and how it’s become crucial to have healthy sex.
All the couples are different, and you can really grasp the excitement they feel about getting laid. Love it! With this kind of video, we usually expect no skin peeks but it’s great that we can actually see naked bodies and even full frontal for a second.
